Lucas Avenue Practice hosted a successful Carers Event for all members of the public on Tuesday 25 July 2017. See pictures from the event below.
The event was well attended, mixed with members of the general public, registered patients, local Carers services and surgery staff.
Attendees had the opportunity to meet with the Practice Manager together with new and long standing staff members of the practice. The event helped to raise awareness about Carer service providers, all of which are accessible through the surgery for patients and residents of Redbridge.
Patients were also notified of the Patient Participation Group at the practice- a practice/patient partnership group designed to help ensure that the practice meets the needs of all of its patients.
Please note that we are improving our patient software and online services.
The current patient online service will be offline from 21 July 2017 and the new system will be online on 3 August 2017. During this time, if you are currently registered for online patient services, you will be unable to access online patient services, ie SystmOnline, as we’ll be migrating to the new system.
Our regular patient services will continue to operate as usual, and we ask for your patience during our system migration, as this may cause some unexpected delays and challenges, thank you in advance.
Patient Access – your new patient online services
You will receive instructions from us on how to register with the new patient online service soon – the new service is called Patient Access.
We will be inviting patients to come and register for Patient Access at the practice in due course, with support by our staff, and we will also demonstrate the system to you if you wish. You can also register yourself at home, and we will issue you with details on how to do so. Thank you for your patience whilst the change is in progress.
The Loxford Practice will be hosting a Carers Event at the practice on Tuesday 25 July 2017between 11.00am and 1.00pm. All local residents are welcome to attend.
The event aims to raise awareness about and allow patients to experience a number of local health and social care service providers accessible through the surgery for our patients as well as other residents of Redbridge.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet members of practice staff, talk to local Carers Services and will be treated to FREE mini health checks and refreshments.
The services due to attend are AGE UK Redbridge, who offer support to older people living in Redbridge, and Redbridge Carers, who provide advice and support to the unpaid carers of Redbridge.
